The IMS|evolve auto-dispatch functionality comprises a fully configurable rules engine that can manage hundreds of dynamic real time data points from the Standard Data Layer architecture and the real time positions of the engineering field force. The system is seamlessly integrated to both Google Maps and TomTom satellite navigation. The system dispatches work based on a number of factors, such as engineer skills, engineer location, parts held in stock and hours worked to reduce the risk of incurring overtime. The intuitive user interface is fully customisable and provides visibility of all historical and real time data transactions in all the data forms, while the parameters are easily adjustable. The system provides real time field force and asset location information contextualising to the asset register and providing dynamic performance management. Users can view all the relevant data for engineers and work orders or both on the map view.

Auto Dispatch Interface Auto Dispatch Interface

The IMS|evolve auto dispatch engine allows users to track field force operatives movements and routes both historically and in real time at a customisable granularity. Travelling time, distance and speed can all be reported. The engine allows for manual intervention and provides a decision audit feature which allows the user to interrogate the decision process. The engine can employ a number of different strategies for different geographical areas, such as closest engineer, fastest response, best qualified or equipped with most suitable parts. The auto dispatch engine continually assesses new demands and will, in real time, reallocate work to ensure that the best resources are employed and service levels achieved.
