The IMS|evolve handheld software works on any Windows Mobile® Compatible device and is seamlessly integrated with the IMS|evolve suite of software. The handheld software is integrated with the TomTom satellite navigation system and so can provide the field based resource with guidance to the asset's location. This is done by a direct feed of the location into the navigation software so the engineer does not have to manually provide this. The handheld software also features the following:
Signing on and off – time and attendance in real time with alerting structure
Tracking mileage and fuel consumption with the option of capturing fuel cost
Accepting and declining work orders with supporting reason details
Viewing work order details with access times, parts required, service levels etc.
Ordering, receipting and returning parts
Auditing feature for checking stock held in boot kit at determinable intervals
Capturing work order time and attendance to give real time SLA reporting
Capturing fault resolution data to help establish root cause and best practices Accessing integrated satellite navigation for guidance to site using Tom Tom
E-mail services which can be restricted and customised as required
Emergency Panic Button Alerts to protect lone or vulnerable workers
Attaching photographs to work order details to report exceptional incidents
Viewing engineer rosters with the ability to review, accept and decline proposals
Accessing and updating a central knowledge base to enhance first fix rates
The IMS|evolve handheld software connects in real time to the central system, should the signal be lost then the software continues to allow the operative to perform updates and once a signal is restored will synchronise and update all the relevant systems and databases.
