Events captured by the machines are passed through a rules engine which can contextualise them, and determined by the rules applied, disseminate them to associated parties - manufacturers, customers, etc. These in turn can be used to identify opportunities for improvement which can be tested across the estate by remote management, reducing the need for human intervention and enabling accurate measurement of performance at a greatly reduced cost. This informs a process which enables the identification of best practise and the ability to benchmark success.
