IMS Evolve is joining forces with Emily Grene to deliver turn-key IoT solutions to help unlock digital transformation in North American retailers.

IMS Evolve, a leading Internet of Things (IoT) company, and Emily Grene, a provider of engineering and innovative design solutions in the clean energy space, have today announced a collaboration to deliver IoT solutions to multi-site retailers across North America at speed and scale. The partnership will provide an end-to-end, turn-key solution that leverages existing infrastructure to monitor, manage and optimize estates, reducing waste and improving the use of valuable environmental resources.

Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Los Angeles, Emily Grene is a recognized leader in large-scale project implementation, helping customers, from commercial and industrial building owners to universities and production home builders, to implement cost-effective, green solutions that reduce energy consumption, maximize efficiency and increase savings and profits. Emily Grene’s integrated services have been delivered to over 2.5 billion square feet of building space and saved hundreds of millions of kilowatt hours for companies across various sectors. Emily Grene’s installation and service expertise combined with IMS Evolve’s transformative IoT platform and years of sector experience, extends these capabilities for multi-site retailers, helping customers to overcome practical barriers to digital transformation.

“We are delighted to partner with IMS Evolve, a company that has been working at the forefront of IoT for over two decades to help some of the biggest names in food retail, energy and finance to realize operational efficiencies and meet future industry challenges,” explained Burke Ewers, CEO, Emily Grene. “We will work alongside the team at IMS Evolve – our first technology solutions partner – to implement strategies for customers that are designed to reduce waste, save energy, and significantly optimize operations.”

With the average US grocery store emitting around 1,383 metric tonnes of CO2 per year from energy consumption alone, the partnership aims to provide an easier route for retailers to integrate a solution that tackles excessive energy consumption. By leveraging the existing capabilities of the IMS Evolve platform and the installation and field service expertise of Emily Grene, the low barrier, out-of-the-box solution drives immediate automated action and insights across a retailer's existing infrastructure.

“In a market sector known for its tight margins, retailers have been dealing with the added challenges brought about by the rising cost of fuel,” said Jason Kay, Chief Commercial Officer, IMS Evolve. “Our collaboration with Emily Grene addresses clear demand for a more efficient end-to-end operation. Emily Grene’s national reach and field service and implementation expertise will allow us to continue delivering best-in-class solutions that improve the performance of critical assets on a larger scale to an even broader selection of multi-site retailers.”

IMS Evolve and Emily Grene will be appearing together at this year’s FMI Conference in Orlando to discuss how IoT can transform businesses energy efficiency by leveraging existing infrastructure.
