We've put pen to paper to summarise IMS' 2025 ahead of the Christmas holdiays and explore what new opportunities await us in the new year
As we start wrapping up our year (and our presents) at IMS Evolve, we wanted to take a look back at all that we’ve been up to in 2025 before we set our sights on a new year and new opportunities.
Inside IMS
We wouldn’t be anywhere without the team behind IMS Evolve! In 2025, we’ve carried on our tradition of diving ‘Inside IMS’ with a series of blog posts about staff from across the company to learn about what they do and what makes them tick.
Whether it’s Charlotte Northwood, Interim Marketing Assistant, Julie Reilly, Full Stack Developer, Nitin Daas, Application Support Analyst, or Ceri Wright, Admin Support, we’ve loved hearing about what they get up to in the office and out this year.
Industry leading insights
As well as leading the IoT industry, did you know we also have a number of thought leaders in our midst?
Our CEO Frank Jones, Director of IoT Solutions Edward Porter, and Director of Refrigeration Strategy Lee Harpham, have all had their insights published by technology and industry trade magazines this year, showcasing the depth and breadth of their knowledge about the sector.
You can find Frank talking about the impact of AI and how tech providers can help guide businesses through their adoption in publications like The AI Journal, Business Reporter and Digitalisation World.
Edward has been featured in TechRadar Pro highlighting how IoT can accelerate efficiency, cost savings and sustainable solutions.
And Lee’s insights on how IoT is transforming the HVAC sector have been published in Heating & Ventilation Review and Energy in Buildings & Industry.
Driving awareness where it counts
Food safety and security is becoming an increasingly important topic across the world as temperatures rise. This is why we’ve spent time this year driving awareness for the likes of the World Food Day, Stop Food Waste Day, World Food Safety Day and World Refrigeration Day.
Personally, we each have a part to play in reducing food waste, but this is especially prevalent within the supply chain that gets our food from farm to fork. We’re proud of the benefits that our IoT technology can bring to supply chains and food retailers in keeping food cool and safe for consumers across the world.
Award-winning work
This year, we were immensely proud to have been shortlisted for two Energy Awards in the ‘Digital Innovation of the Year – Operational Efficiency’ and ‘Energy Project of the Year – Retail & Commercial, Industrial’ categories.
Empowering sustainable retail is at the core of what we do, so we’re hugely pleased that our scalable demand side response solution received this recognition, as did our work optimising asset performance for sustainability and savings for a UK petrol filling station operator.
Exciting times ahead for IMS Evolve
2025 has certainty been a year of innovation and progress at IMS Evolve, and 2026 promises to be no different!
